Pride Shalosh Seudos in Central Park

Time: 4pm-7pm
LocationSheep Meadow, Central Park - ~67th street on the west side of the park
Cost: Free!

Join JQYouth and Glydsa in the northwest corner of Sheep Meadow in Central Park for an afternoon of outdoor socializing. Look for the yarmulkes under the shade of the big tree. Some food and drink will be provided; you are encouraged to bring a kosher snack (fruit, cake, chips, jarred gefilte fish, or whatever floats your boat) or a bottle of soda/juice to share. Dress comfortably. Bring a blanket if you want. Map and information on www.orthogays.org (No rain date. Water fountain and restrooms nearby.)

Time: Service – 6-7:30pm, Traditional Shabbat Dinner – 7:30-11:30pm
Location: Congregation Rodeph Sholom7 West 83rd Street, (Between Columbus and CPW)

Cost: $40 ($25/students) for reservations and payments made byMONDAY, 2 JUNE BEFORE12:00 NOON. $48 ($30/students) thereafter (on a space available basis).

Schmooze with 250+ LGBTQ Jews, celebrate Shabbat and its traditional rituals and eat a delicious kosher meal. If you are single, this dinner will be a wonderful place to find a nice Jewish girl/boyfriend. If you are coupled, there is plenty of schmoozing and fun as well. After dinner, the room will be open until11:30 p.m. for dessert, Israeli wine, cocktails and more schmoozing. Before dinner, join Rodeph Sholom for its 18th Annual LGBTQ Pride Shabbat Service.

6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Rodeph Sholom’s 18th Annual LGBTQ PRIDE SHABBAT SERVICE. The guest speaker will be Idit Klein ofKeshet, a national organization working for the full inclusion of LGBTQs in Jewish life.

7:30 - 11:30 p.m. TRADITIONAL SHABBAT DINNER

JQY, CBSTKeshet, Mosaic, Eshel, and A Wider Bridge all team up for this amazing event.

We will dance down 5th ave and celebrate with the rest of the Jewish World.

Annual LGBT Community Purim Party + Megillah Reading!!! 3/15/14

The 7th Annual Community-Wide LGBTQ PURIM Party and Megillah Reading
at the JCC Manhattan!!!

Dust off those costumes, and break out the groggers! 

Join over 300 friends, old and new, for our 7th Annual LGBTQ Community Purim Party and Megillah Reading, complete with appetizers, Hamantaschen, an OPEN BAR, costume contest and dance party!

Date: Saturday, March 15th 
Time: 8:30 PM Megillah Reading; 9:30 PM - 12:00 AM Party and Costume Contest
Cover: $15.00 ($10.00 for students at the door)
Location: The JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. at 76th St, NYC

We begin the evening at 8:30 p.m. with a special traditional Megillah reading by members of our own community!
 

The festivities continue 9:30 p.m into the night with an OPEN BAR, dancing, yummy food, and a costume contest with prizes! 

Come for the Megillah, come for the dancing, or just come to fulfill the Mitzvah of getting so drunk that you can't tell the difference between Esther and Mordechai! 
...At this party that may be easier than you think!

OPEN BAR!!! (For those 21+)

This Event is open to the entire LGBTQ Jewish Community along with their friends, families and allies.

With Special Guest Facilitator from Israel: Havruta, Hod, Gavra and Kamocha member, Yishai Moskovitch plus report on LGBT Jewish Trips to Israel by our very own members!
What is it like growing up frum and gay in Israel? How does the Israeli LGBT community differ from the LGBT Jewish community in NY? Come learn about all the different LGBT Orthodox organizations of Israel. 
Suggested donation: $3, and of course, we will be serving refreshments before, after, and during the meeting... :)
